Category: Understanding Posted On: 2026-09-06

The occasional nightmare is considered a dream that’s simply more frightening or upsetting. Nightmares tend to be caused by stress, anxiety, or sometimes as a reaction to certain medications.
However, if you have nightmares frequently, you could have a sleeping disorder. Regularly occurring scary dreams can be labeled a sleeping disorder if the nightmares:

  • cause you to be anxious about going to sleep
  • lead to frequent disruptions of your sleep
  • bring about other sleeping or psychological problems

Many people experience occasional nightmares throughout their lives. However, the American Sleep Association estimates only about 5 percent of the population experiences persistent nightmares as a sleeping disorder.

Tantra : The art of Touch Therapy

Category: Understanding Posted On: 2026-09-06

Tantra, a Touch Therapy, lies on the principle of Geo-physical science of magnetism. It is proven that all our emotions are controlled by hormones. In Tantra, practitioner gives sensual touches on different points of body and arouses blood pressure to a targeted level and push over to the hormonal release points to regulate them.

Tantra aims to use of various techniques, deep breathing, relaxation, connecting exercise to help drop you into 'reality' to truly see, feel and experience the sensation in the body, senses and energy. There are seven principles within Tantra These principles are Surrender, Awareness, Movement, Breath, Sound, Intention and Acceptance.

Origin of Tantra

Tantra comes from Nervous System( Hindi: तंत्रिका तंत्र) which means the Healing art of Neurons. It has been invented and first practiced by Sage Patanjali(महर्षि पतंजलि) in ancient time of India. The sage invented this Touch therapy art for the purpose of quick and easiest way of meditation as it is very difficult and lengthy and time-taking process on meditation through Yoga, but they also realised many other benefits of Tantra which never comes from YOGA.

Astral Projection

Astral Projection

Category: Understanding Posted On: 2026-09-06

Astral projection (or astral travel) is a term used in esotericism to describe a willful out-of-body experience (OBE) that assumes the existence of a soul or consciousness called an "astral body" that is separate from the physical body and capable of travelling outside it throughout the universe.

The idea of astral travel is ancient and occurs in multiple cultures. It is sometimes reported in association with dreams, and forms of meditation. Some individuals have reported perceptions similar to descriptions of astral projection that were induced through various hallucinogenic and hypnotic means (including self-hypnosis). There is no scientific evidence that there is a consciousness or soul which is separate from normal activity or that one can consciously leave the body and make observations, and astral projection has been characterized as a pseudoscience.

ASTRAL

The expression "astral projection" came to be used in two different ways. For the Golden Dawn and some Theosophists it retained the classical and medieval philosophers' meaning of journeying to other worlds, heavens, hells, the astrological spheres and other imaginable landscapes, but outside these circles the term was increasingly applied to non-physical travel around the physical world.

It is used to represent the sense of being "out of the body" in the physical world, whereas "astral" may connote some alteration in time-perception This etheric body is usually, though not always, invisible but is often perceived by the experient as connected to the physical body during separation by a "silver cord". Some link "falling" dreams with projection.

We can describe a domain that has no parallel to any known physical setting. Environments may be populated or unpopulated, artificial, natural or abstract, and the experience may be beatific, horrific or neutral. A common Theosophical belief is that one may access a compendium of mystical knowledge called the Akashic records. In many accounts the experiencer correlates the astral world with the world of dreams. Some even report seeing other dreamers enacting dream scenarios unaware of their wider environment.

The astral environment may also be divided into levels or sub-planes by theorists, but there are many different views in various traditions concerning the overall structure of the astral planes: they may include heavens and hells and other after-death spheres, transcendent environments, or other less-easily characterized states.

The subtle body is a universal human experience, and apparently part of our standard human design like toenails and kidneys. It is this subtle body that projects astrally and is active during unconscious and lucid dreaming; astral projection and dreaming often go hand-in-hand as “out-of-body” experiences, or OBEs.

The subtle body, when cultivated, can survive the physical body as a matrix for consciousness, and astral projection and lucid dreaming are part of spiritual training paths for subtle body cultivation. Neophytes confuse the subtle body with the soul or spirit, two additional aspects of multi-dimensional humans.

OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCES AND ASTRAL PROJECTION

The OBE can be intentional or involuntary, as with near-death events when people report finding themselves floating near the ceiling of their hospital rooms, perhaps observing medical staff attempting to revive them. Trauma, illness, or water and food deprivation, as with Native American vision quests, can trigger OBEs. Lucid dream states are opportunities for intentional OBEs. For the purposes of this article, OBEs may be spontaneous, and astral projection a conscious choice, though some would argue otherwise.

Essentially, the OBE begins with an experience of leaving the body and consciously observing it from a detached perspective. With practice and lucidity, awareness can be directed to locations or activities like flight. Yes, flight. If you’ve had flying dreams - literal flying, no 747 required - or being in the sky, you’ve had OBEs. Some say that we have regular OBEs during sleep, often hovering a few inches over our physical bodies.

Neuroscientists are puzzled - while the experience is no longer dismissed out of hand by medical professionals, science holds the view that OBEs involve neurological or brain dysfunction.

BENEFITS OF OOBE

The tantrics mastered lucid OBE and dream states to overcome the fear of death by learning that we are not our “bodies.” They also discovered that the physical body can experience deep healing during OBEs , the mind can be tough on the body. And rather than losing time to practice meditation during sleep, yogis continued working through the night while the body rested.

Some athletes learn lucid dreaming to practice and visualize their game. By working in a dream or out-of-body, not only do they visualize, they have a “felt sense” of their practice, and can actually acquire the muscle memory for winning habits. Others benefit from the opportunity to explore past lives as well as accelerated personal development.

It is our energy, or subtle body that comes and goes from our physical form.

ASTRAL PROJECTION METHODS

There are dozens of methods to learn conscious OBE and astral projection. There are two approaches - one is to keep the mind awake while the body falls asleep. It’s tricky - the mind wants to do what the body is doing. The goal is to take the body into deeper and deeper states of relaxation without drifting into unconsciousness. Yoga Nidra  is one method. Once the body enters sleep state, practitioners simply “roll” out of their physical form.

Ancient yogis would tie two frogs together before sleep. Once tied, the frogs would continuously croak- a yogi would use the sound to anchor awareness as the body drifted into sleep, and either leave the body, or enter lucid dream states. If, during a dream, the yogi could no longer hear the frogs, he/she knew lucidity had been lost, and could “wake” again within the dream.

Astral projection is fun and fascinating

The idea that humans can leave their bodies during dream states is ancient. Countless people, from New Agers to shamans around the world, believe that it is possible to commune with cosmic intelligence through visions and vivid dreams experienced during astral projection, also known as out-of-body experiences. Surveys suggest that between 8 and 20 percent of people claim to have had something like an out-of-body experience at some point in their lives - a sensation of the consciousness, spirit, or "astral body" leaving the physical body. While most experiences occur during sleep or under hypnosis, some people claim to do it while merely relaxing.

Affects of astral projection

  • Astral Projection is like swimming. When you start learning at first, You are always not know how to balence your body in water. Same way, It is always a fear how to balence myself out of my body. But as you keep practising, we learn each and every steps of that experience.
  • There is so much to get into, but know that no harm will come to you unless you think it will. The thrill of having an OBE keeps some people out of their bodies for long periods of time, which is said to weaken the silver cord but the silver cord cannot be weakened. It is pure energy and energy can't be eliminated or removed, only moved from one place to another, or one form or another so don't worry about astral travelling; it is natural, powerful and healing.
  • The silver cord can never be broken, but it is said that your soul can be delayed from re-entering your body if you spend too much energy outside of it. Yet your soul and body are so intrinsically entwined that the soul will naturally come back when it's right to.
  • Some say that demons can inhabit the body while the soul is being projected. If you fear this may happen, protect your body by blessing the room with a prayer before you perform projection. It is only hearsay anyway and seeing as you'll have already asked for light protection nothing bad will occur.
  • Your soul can also interact with other astral projections. Try it with a friend who has practiced as much as you have. Some say astral sex is mind blowing. However, remember to always return to your body.
  • It is possible to heal others during astral travel; this is a form of distance healing that is very powerful. Envision the sick person, perhaps lying in their bed. It doesn't matter if they're not physically in their bed while you're doing it because time and distance become void when you're in the astral plane. Always ask for protection, healing power and guidance from whomever you pray to and envision light; you can ask during astral projection as and when you wish. See light in your hands as white and strong as you can, and if you feel ready put one hand on their forehead and another on their abdomen and pour the light into them. Your intentions must be pure and you should be feeling nothing but love for them. Sometimes people will report back to you that something amazing has happened to them, even though you didn't tell them you were the source of it! Enjoy your astral journeys!

Concept of Tantra

Concept of Tantra

Category: Awareness Posted On: 2026-09-06

Tantra aims to use of various techniques, deep breathing, relaxation, connecting exercise to help drop you into 'reality' to truly see, feel and experience the sensation in the body, senses and energy. There are seven principles within Tantra These principles are Surrender, Awareness, Movement, Breath, Sound, Intention and Acceptence.

In Tantra, the treatment is done not only at your physical but emotional, mental and spiritual level. During the Ritual, the mature tantric practitioner passes spiritual or psychic energy, usually from the universe, into you, to awaken the tantric warrior within you. It will make you feel as if you are in a tantric trance, where physical boundaries dissolve, time disappears, worries and problems no longer seem important. Your whole body will be celebrated and NOTHING will escape attention. The purpose is to gradually "edge" you to your optimum ejaculation fusion point, again, again and again, building sensual energy to allow a really magical orgasm. That creates a balance, putting everything into perspective.

In Tantra, The Practitioner worships the client as embodiments of deities and follow an attitude of reverence into the whole Treatment and to all his interactions. The tantric approach has far more to do with your mental approach than sex. When you go tantra, u feel a heavenly delightness, full of great pleasure. You live each moment of joyfulness. You find the deepest jubilation with a great triumph with exultation and rejoicing. Your each cell will filled with a divine thrill that you ever achived in your whole life.

Tantra is about expansion, and connection with the universe, a way of achieving unity, and ultimately about our perception of reality. Tantric treatments aims to use various techniques, deep breathing, relaxation, connecting exercises to help drop you into 'reality' to truly see, feel and experience the sensation in the body, senses and energy. There are seven main principles within Tantra to incorporate. These principles are Surrender, Awareness, Movement, Breath, Sound, Intention, and Acceptance.

Surrendering to pleasure, releasing control with confidence that you are acting out the wishes of the Divine/universal. It is by letting go we allow our views to be stretched, so that decisions based on habitual responses such as fear maybe changed, allowing growth. Surrender is also concerned with self appreciation, how incredible we truly are on all levels, rather than seeing surrender as a negative of renouncing something, it can allow new perspective.

Awareness and surrender go hand in hand; awareness allows us to awaken to every instant, being present in each moment to experience the vividness it has to offer. To develop inner trust to let go, knowing we are aware of the consequence of our actions.

Awareness of each movement allows elegance and ease, as movement in the body also moves the energy. Preventing energy escaping maintains a balance between rest and activities which are vital. Tantra see's rest as a way of storing energy and by moving you spread your energy around the whole body. It is not just on a physical level, but also on an emotional and spiritual level that movement and rest are vital, and the flow of movement across our whole being one important step in tantric massage.

When was the last time you were aware of your breathing? Breathing is one of the ways that we can nourish ourselves and take in that delicious universal energy; it is a fantastic way of connecting to what is happening within our own bodies, but also a great way of connecting with partners and allows us to go deeper. Each exhale surrender, each inhale awareness.

Vocalizing how we feel, and what we really want to say is tricky in modern society as such people suppress and inhibit themselves. Tantric massage seeks to allow a person to express how they are feeling vocally or verbally, in truth and without judgment.

Clarity of mind arises from surrendered consciousness to shift energy, renewed by breathing and triggered by sounding, uncovering the ecstasy in each moment. Intuition or innate knowing lets our true nature takes hold, the splendor inside begins to spill outside.

Acceptance says yes to all things. There is a freedom from disciple, seeing that all acts are divine, to let go of right or wrong, good or bad without criticism. You can use the keys for every aspect of life such as work, sex, health, love, communication. Tantra supports us in living a liberated, satisfied, and brilliant life and tantric massage fuses these elements together in a sublime and heartfelt way.
